One of the all-time favourite characters of children’s literature, The Very Hungry Caterpillar will be meeting children at The Arc in Bury St Edmunds on Monday, August 8.
The green visitor will be in Charter Square at 11am, 1pm and 3pm and will also appearing during story time sessions, led by a narrator, at Arc’s Waterstones store at 12pm and 2pm.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar is visiting as part of The Arc’s Noah’s Arc series of events.
Throughout the school summer holiday’s shoppers will get the chance to meet lots of animals as Noah’s arc will be stopping of at the Arc every Monday.
Families are invited to visit the centre each week to meet the animals who will be a mixture of famous children’s characters, fun and interactive entertainers and even some real ones that children can get up close and personal with and learn all about them.
As well as the chance to meet the animals, visitors will also be able to win a £50 shopping spree. Shoppers can put their face in the hole to become one of Noah’s animals, those who snap a photo and share it on the shopping centre’s Facebook page will be in with a chance of winning the prize.
Colin Roberts is the centre manager at arc shopping centre, he said; “The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a huge family favourite and we’re delighted to have him visit arc.
“So far our Noah’s Arc visits have all been fantastic, it’s been wonderful to see so many little ones enjoying the entertainment, I’m sure this one will not disappoint either. ”
