Quintet agree to remain with Newmarket Town in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division next season

Five members of last season's squad have committed themselves to Newmarket Town for the 2019/20 Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division campaign.

Lewis Whitehead is among those that has agreed to re-sign, having returned to the Jockeys midway through last term following a spell with higher-league Cambridge City.

The forward went on to score 11 goals from his 16 appearances in a yellow shirt.

Goalkeeper Alex Archer, who took his non-league career tally of appearances past the 350 mark last season, has also committed his future to the club alongside captain Jack Watson and defender Martyn Farrant.

The quintet is completed by Ben Robinson, who found the net on five occasions after his arrival from Cambridge City in January.
