Newmarket Town sign Jordan Foster from neighbouring Ely City

Ahead of their short trip to Ely City tomorrow night, Newmarket Town have signed Jordan Foster from the Robins.

The winger only joined Ely from lower-league Great Shelford in the summer but he made an instant impact, scoring a hat-trick on his home debut during the 3-1 win over Mildenhall Town.

However, he has now opted to link up with Michael Shinn's Jockeys and could make his first Newmarket appearance when the sides meet at the Demcom Stadium tomorrow night (7.45pm).

Foster featured on a total of 29 occasions for Shelford during their Kershaw Premier Division title-winning campaign of 2018/19, finding the back of the net 18 times.
