Ipswich Town trialist Quevin Castro joins Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division side Mildenhall Town on loan




Mildenhall Town have secured the loan services of Ipswich Town trialist Quevin Castro.

The 18-year-old midfielder, who is the younger brother of Mildenhall forward Volter Rocha, linked up with the EFL League One Tractor Boys in the summer after leaving Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division outfit Thetford Town.

Portugal-born Castro – a former Sporting Lisbon academy player – is on an extended trial period with Ipswich, during which time he has featured for the club's Under-23s on a handful of occasions, as well as turning out on loan for Step 3 side Leiston.

And he will now continue his development for the next month back in the Thurlow Nunn League top flight with Ricky Cornish's Mildenhall, who will play host to Brantham Athletic this afternoon (3pm).

Castro made 40 appearances last term for Thetford, finding the back of the net on five occasions.
