Jake Hayhoe and Ben Nolan agree to remain with Mildenhall Town in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division

After the recent arrivals of Casey Phillips and Jack Brame, two members of last season's squad have agreed to remain at Mildenhall Town for 2019/20.

Goalkeeper Jake Hayhoe is the first of the pair to have committed, having arrived at Mildenhall from lower-league Diss Town in January.

Hayhoe, who had a stint as a youngster with Bury Town, has become a firm favourite among the Recreation Way faithful since making his debut in a 2-0 win over Witham Town.

Meanwhile, young attacker Ben Nolan has also agreed to remain with the club.

Nolan made a total of 14 appearances for Mildenhall in the Bostik League North Division last term, while the season before saw him score his first senior goal during a 1-1 draw with Norwich United.

Manager Ricky Cornish said of the re-signing duo: "Jake has been terrific since he’s come in and he is a top 'keeper with a lot of good years ahead of him.

"Benny is quick, direct and very mobile and he has really pushed through this season.

"Both of them are looking forward to the challenge the new season will bring."

Last week Mildenhall also confirmed that captain Luke Butcher had committed his future to the club.
