Hadleigh 190-7 lost to Mildenhall 191-4 by six wickets

Mildenhall tightened their grip on top spot with a routine win away at Hadleigh.

Having lost the toss, the home side were put into bat and started in cautious fashion as Hamzah Ikram, Tom Allen and Ziaf Kulasi all picked up a wicket apiece.

An unbeaten 50 from Marlon Dias was Hadleigh’s main contribution, while Ikram finished with figures of 4-34.

Yet another 100-run opening partnership put Mildenhall in total control as Joe Reed made 38.

Steve Taylor continued his prolific year, falling for 96, and it was left to captain Ben Shepperson (20) and Matt Allen (15) to see the side home.

n Mildenhall II made 146-8 from their 45 overs against Lakenheath, with Steve Graham scoring 33.

That game went to the final over with Lakenheath needing 13 runs and Mildenhall just one wicket.

The visitors got 11 of those runs before Jon Allen trapped Mark Milner LBW to secure a one-run win.

n In a 39-over game, Mildenhall III bowled out Felixstowe for 104.

The visitors lost both openers early.

But they reached their target five wickets down thanks to Alex Wilkens (20), James Taylor (24) and Andy Zajac (24).

n Ash Clark took two wickets and then scored 64 unbeaten runs with the bat as Mildenhall IV beat Worlingworth by seven wickets.

Hosting Worlingworth were bowled out for just 104, which visiting Mildenhall reached with ease.

n Mildenhall Sunday I coasted to a 101-run win over Bury St Edmunds on Sunday, with Steve Taylor scoring 111.

n Mildenhall Sunday II recovered from 67-5 to make 255-8 against Risby and win by 85 runs.

n Mildenhall Ladies recorded a 100-run victory over Thriplow.
