Classic-winning trainer Jeremy Noseda has announced his retirement.

Noseda, who landed the St Leger in 2006 with Sixties Icon, is based at Shalfleet Stables on Newmarket's Bury Road.

In total he trained 14 Grade and Group 1 during a career which started in 1996 following stints as an assistant to John Dunlop, John Gosden and Godolphin.
