St Leger-winning trainer Jeremy Noseda retires
Classic-winning trainer Jeremy Noseda has announced his retirement.
Noseda, who landed the St Leger in 2006 with Sixties Icon, is based at Shalfleet Stables on Newmarket's Bury Road.
In total he trained 14 Grade and Group 1 during a career which started in 1996 following stints as an assistant to John Dunlop, John Gosden and Godolphin.
However, he revealed on Twitter earlier today that he is now standing down, posting: "I have decided to retire from training. The time is right for me to walk away. I will be leaving the sport with a smile on my face and with a lot of great memories."
