Six times champion greyhound trainer Mark Wallis will have three runners in the semi-finals of this year’s Coral Coronation Cup at Romford on Weddnesday.
Ante-post favourite for the 575 metre Category Two competition Adageo Bob only just made it through from Friday’s opening round when claiming third in heat two, despite being sent off the 1/4 favourite.
Prior to Adageo Bob making it through Blonde Razor dipped under the 35 second barrier when continuing his recent upturn in form to take heat one in a time of 34.76s.
Vanfrenchie was the third and final runner trained by the Lakenheath handler to make it through to the semi-finals when taking heat three in 35.00s.
While seeing three of his entrants progress in the competition at the London Road track, his two other entrants suffered first round exits.
Rosealinda could only manage fourth in heat two, while Jimmy Nailed On occupied the same spot when turning out in heat four.
