Both Cheveley Road sides scored 4-1 victories in the Newmarket Snooker and Billiards League this week.
The A team overcame Mildenhall Snooker Club, with Andy Dawson setting them on their way by dishing out a bit of a hiding to Steve Jones junior.
Richard Badcock doubled Cheveley’s advantage before Mildenhall captain Richard Lyes pulled one back for his team.
However, Larry Wargen made short work of Alan Benton to secure victory and captain Paul Sharpe put the gloss on it by defeating an out-of-form Stef Wait 64-18.
Cheveley Road B had no worries as they cruised to a 4-1 success at New Astley Club.
Dan Stoodley, Stevie Kerr, Darren Halfpenny and Jason Browes had Cheveley B on course for a whitewash before Steve Debenham secured a consolation point for Astley.
Kevin Peacock got Soham Snooker Club’s only point in their 4-1 defeat to Cambridge.
