It will be an all-Cheveley Road final in the Newmarket Snooker and District League Cup, after both sides won in the semi-finals last week.
Road B saw off SohamSports Centre to reach the final on April 15, coming from 1-0 down to win 4-1.
After Chris Blease beat Paul Jefferies 67-28 to take the first game for Soham, Road B fought back to level when Jason Browes beat Tom Crawford 100-55.
Cheveley captain Karl Bursford defeated Soham skipper Kevin Peacock 100-61 to give his side the lead for the first time, before Dan Stoodley produced a late comeback to see off Colin Johnson to secure the win.
With their place in the final secure, Darren Halfpenny capped off a memorable night for Road B, seeing off Larry Giblin 65-9 to complete a 4-1 victory.
Road A set-up an all-Cheveley final edging past Mildenhall Social Club 3-2 in the other semi-final.
In the first snooker game of the night Andy Dawson battled past Mildenhall’s newcomer Jake Towler 65-30 to give Road A an early lead.
The first billiards encounter saw two veterans go head-to-head, with David Bentinck grinding out a 100-82 victory against Alan Benton.
Paul Bunting overcame Stef Wait in a black-ball game, potting the final ball to claim a 62-52 success, before Mildenhall captain Richard Lyes sent the match to a decider.
Lyes brushed aside Cheveley’s Larry Wargen 100-44 to make the match score 2-2, and force a deciding game.
Road A captain Paul Sharpe held his nerve to see off Mildenhall’s Steve Jones Jr 44-18, and book their place in next month’s league cup final.
The two sides will meet in a dress rehearsal for the final when Road B host Road A in the league next Wednesday.
Elsewhere in the penultimate round of fixtures, Cheveley British Legion host leaders Cambridge, and Mildenhall entertain bottom-placed Newmarket.
