Halsey returns to cover injuries
Mildenhall Fen Tigers have reacted quickly to the news that they could be without Jordan Jenkins and Sam Bebee for some time by re-signing Danny Halsey.
Halsey, who left the Fen Tigers at the end of last year following seven seasons with the club, had been unable to secure himself a ride for the current campaign.
However, with captain Jenkins breaking three bones in his back and Bebee breaking his wrist during Wednesday's meeting at Birmingham Brummies, Halsey has returned to the Mildenhall Stadium.
Promoter Kevin Jolly said: "Jordan should be leaving hospital today but I would guess he is out for around four to six weeks.
"Sam may miss two to three weeks with a suspected fractured wrist but he has movement in it today which is good news.
"Although guests can work it is not my favoured way to go and we want very much to keep the strong tight spirit that has built up in the group and felt Danny was the perfect fit."
Halsey is unavailable for Sunday's National League home meeting with Buxton Hitmen, so Anders Rowe will guest in his place.
