Youngster Tommy Robinson leaves Bury Town for Bostik League North Division neighbours Mildenhall Town
Ahead of the weekend's Bostik League North Division derby between the two sides at Recreation Way, Mildenhall Town have signed Tommy Robinson from neighbouring Bury Town.
The attacker, who joined the Blues from Cornard United in 2017, has made 16 appearances for the senior side this term, as well as finding the net four times in 14 outings for the development team.
However, with winger Joe Carden's recent arrival from Soham Town Rangers having provided more competition for places at Bury, 19-year-old Robinson has opted to make the switch to Mildenhall.
Mildenhall boss Ricky Cornish said: "Tommy is a powerful runner with the ball who will creates chances for others. He has a good engine, is a specialist from set pieces and is another very good addition to our attack."
Hosts Mildenhall head into Saturday's encounter second from bottom and five points from safety, while visiting Bury are sixth, four points adrift of the play-off places.
Bury won the reverse fixture back in October 3-0, with Robinson appearing as a second-half substitute.
