Graham Arnold and Craig Theobald impressed with bat and ball as Fordham II defeated Littleport Town by 82 runs.

After a poor start which saw them stand at 9-2 after nine overs, Gavin Harding (24) and Scott Blaber (18) reignited the Fordham innings.

An outstanding partnership of 71 runs between Arnold (40) and Tim Sales (43) helped lay the foundations for the visitors, with Sales and Theobald (24 not out) adding another 62 runs to help close on 191-7.

In reply Littleport slumped to 90-5, before seeing their last five wickets go for just 19 runs.

Arnold (4-17), Theobald (3-19) and Sam Buck (2-2) took the wickets to leave the hosts all out for 109.

n In Division Six North, Fordham III saw off Cambridge NCI IV by six wickets, courtesy of a half century from Stuart Dunsmuir.

After Cambridge finished on 132-9, Fordham scored the 133 runs required in the 22nd over for the loss of only four wickets.

n Fordham’s first-team saw their Tucker Gardner Cambs and Hunts Premier League Division Two clash with Blunham called off, after three of the visiting players were involved in a car accident en-route to the ground.
