Candidates standing for the South East Cambridgeshire seat in the forthcoming General Election will be answering voters’ questions in Swaffham Bulbeck next month.

The hustings will be in the village’s St Mary’s Church on Saturday February 7, from 10am to 11 45am

The panel will consist of Jonathan Chatfield (Liberal Democrat), Lucy Frazer (Conservative), Huw Jones (Labour), Debbie Rennie (UKIP) and Clive Semmens (Green Party) who will all be contesting the seat currently held for the Conservatives by Sir Jim Paice who is standing down at the election.

They will face questions presented to the panel chairman of which they have no prior knowledge.

Each candidate will be given the opportunity to present their arguments on why local voters should elect them.

There will be a poster presentation of the work of Swaffham Bulbeck parish council over the past 12 months and its vision for 2015.
