A public meeting will be held in West Row next month concerning controversial plans to build more than 130 new homes in the village.
The meeting, at West Row village hall at 10am on Saturday, February 7, has been called by Cllr James Waters, leader of Forest Heath District Council, and ward councillor David Bowman, to discuss a proposal to build 131 new homes just off Beeches Road.
The application to build the homes, submitted by the Waters family, in conjunction with Suffolk County Council and Pigeon Investment Management, has meet with a lot of local objection with two meetings already having been held by village residents protesting against the plan.
During next month’s meeting plans for the development, which includes up to 42 affordable homes, will be available for inspection.
