Festive spirit will fill the air in Mildenhall tonight as the town hosts its annual Christmas evening.
The event, organised by Mildenhall Parish Council in association with a host of other groups from the town, will be staged in the Market Place from 4.45pm until 8pm.
During that period the town’s Christmas tree lights will be switched on at 5.30pm while Father Christmas will make an appearance on his sleigh.
Throughout the evening a Christmas market will be up and running, while Christmas carols will be sung by members of Churches Together and the Bunbury Players,
For younger visitors there will be a chance to visit Jack Frost on his ice podium, and Father Christmas’ grotto.
