Thieves targeted a home and two cars in Mildenhall in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The incidents took place between 12am and 5am in St Helena Walk.

Offenders broke into the house through an unlocked back door and stole a number of items including an Apple iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S3, a Kindle Fire, a Toshiba tablet and laptop.

A Michael Kors watch and grey Jack Wolfskin jacket were also stolen, along with the keys to a white BMW 320, which was then stolen from the driveway of the property.

The car, along with some other possesions belonging to the victim, was recovered in Mildenhall later that day.

The vehicle was found at about 3pm in Downing Close and a car seat and handbag were recovered in St Catherine’s Close.

Police are linking this crime to another theft from a car in St Helena Walk on the same night, when an insecure Fiat Punto was broken into and a Tom Tom sat nav stolen.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in any of the roads, or has any information, should contact Suffolk Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
