Teenager bailed after Newmarket rape arrest
A teenager arrested in connection with an alleged rape in Newmarket has been bailed.
Police were called in the early hours of yesterday morning, after a girl in her late teens said she been walking near The Watercourse in Exeter Road when she was approached by a man who she claimed had then raped her.
The 18-year-old man has been released on police bail and is due to return to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre on Tuesday June 27.
