Teenager arrested after becoming aggressive towards police when told to go home




A teenager was arrested last night after becoming aggressive towards police officers when they told him to go home.

Suffolk Police were called to All Saints Road yesterday evening following reports a group of teenagers were not following Covid-19 regulations.

When officers arrived they saw three teenagers in the area.

Two were escorted home but a third, a 17-year-old boy, became aggressive and threatened officers, Suffolk Police said.

After he resisted arrest, he was detained for a public order offence and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre. He was later released under investigation.
