Suffolk police want witnesses after five people hurt in A11 crash at Red Lodge

Police are appealing for witnesses after a rover car crashed and ended up in a field off the A11 at Red Lodge at the weekend.

Five people were hurt in the incident which happened at around 6.25am on Sunday on the southbound stretch of the road.

A blue Rover left the carriageway and ended up on its side. The five people in the car were taken to hospital with non serious injuries.

A 23-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving.

One lane of the carriageway was closed until 9am and police want to hear from anyone who may have seen the vehicle driving along the A11 before it left the road.
