Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall to visit Ely on Tuesday
Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall will be in Ely on Tuesday.
As patron of The Almshouse Association, the Prince of Wales will visit The Thomas Parsons’ Charity almshouses and meet residents, volunteers and representatives from the charity at a reception.
He will also visit Ely Cathedral’s Stained Glass Museum, to see its expanding collection, meet staff members and hear more about the charity’s education programmes as part of the museum’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
Earlier in the day the Duchess of Cornwall, who is president of the type 1 diabetes charity, JDRF, will visit Addenbrooke’s Hospital to learn more about its work to promote new technologies to improve the lives of those living with the condition.
