Suffolk Highways will be carrying out resurfacing works along Fred Archer Way, Fordham Road and Rous Road in Newmarket.
The works, which will begin on Monday and continue for five nights, are being carried out to strengthen the existing road, prevent further deterioration caused by the severe weather and also improve general carriageway condition.
Phase one will see the A142 Fordham Road, Newmarket from Bury Road/Old Station Road and High Street roundabout to Rayes Lane closed be closed overnight Monday and Tuesday.
A diversion will be put in place via Fordham Road, Willie Snaith Road, Studlands Park Avenue, Exning Road, Mill Hill, Fred Archer Way and vice versa.
The second phase will see the B1103 Fred Archer Way from Fordham Road to Barlings Court closed overnight on Wednesday and Thursday. A diversion will be put in place via Fordham Road, High Street, Hamilton Road, Rowley Drive, Mill Hill, Fred Archer Way and vice versa.
The final closure will see the section of Rous Road between house numbers 17 to 25 and the car park entrance closed overnight on Friday. A diversion will be set up on the remaining part Rous Road, Old Station Road, High Street, Rous Road and vice versa.
All road closures will run from 7pm until 6am.
