Pupils at Cheveley Primary School were given an insight into the jobs of a tractor on a farm earlier this month.

Youngsters from the school’s Elm class received a visit from a tractor supplied by Bury St Edmunds based Claas UK as part of their farm topic.

During the visit, driver Ian Prowse answered a series of questions from pupils about life as a tractor driver, along with showing them the engine of the vehicle and giving them the chance to sit in the cab.

Following on from the visit pupils spent the next day creating their own tractors from junk modelling.
