Police have released an e-fit of a man they want to track after a vehicle was tampered with in Gazeley.

The incident happened in Moulton Road between 7pm on Monday and 10am the next day. Someone got into a vehicle parked on a driveway, but nothing was stolen.

A man was seen in the area around the time and is described as a white man, tall in height, slim in build, aged in his forties, had ‘scruffy’ brown coloured hair and was wearing shorts.

Police are also linking this incident to others that happened in the area during the same period. Two cars parked in the road and on a driveway were entered in Tithe Close, and cash was stolen from both.

This is also being linked to a burglary that happened in The Street in Gazeley between 2am and 8am on Tuesday. A thief entered a property, made a search and stole a Fuji digital camera, Acer Aspire laptop and keys.

Three sheds were also burgled at a property in Mill Road between 10.30pm on Monday and 5am the next morning. Nothing was stolen.

Anyone with information relating to these crimes or recognises the man in the e-fit should contact PC Alexander Saggers from Mildenhall on 101 quoting MH/14/1340 or the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
