Cambridgeshire Police hunt man after Fordham assault




A Fordham shop worker was punched in the face after he tried to stop a driver leaving a service station without paying for fuel.

Today East Cambridgeshire's police have released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the assault.

At about 3.15pm on January 11 a vehicle pulled up at the forecourt of Fordham Service Station in Carter Street.

The driver filled up two petrol cans of diesel.

When a shop worker tried to the occupants from leaving without paying, he was punched in the face.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Police said: "Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting investigation number 35/2625/20."
