Members of the Bill Tutte Club had a hands-on session with guinea pigs at Newmarket Academy’s Animal Welfare Centre during the club’s monthly meeting.

Animal welfare technician Jasmine Houston demonstrated how health checks are carried out on small animals and supervised as the youngsters checked the guinea pigs out. The club is a free maths and science-based after-school club for children in school Years 5 - 9, which meets monthly at Newmarket Academy.
