Newmarket man killed in crash

Police have named the man killed in a fatal three-vehicle crash at Burrough Green yesterday as 23-year-old Sebestian Andrzej Chlebosz, of Aureole Walk in Newmarket.

Mr Chlebosz was a back seat passenger in a red Audi which was involved in a collision with a blue Ford Focus and a JCB digger.

The driver of the Audi, a 23-year-old man from Soham suffered serious injuries and is being treated in Addenbrooke’s Hospital along with a 21-year-old man from Burwell, who was a front seat passenger and suffered slight injuries.

The driver of the Focus, a 35-year-old woman from Newmarket, and the driver of the JCB, a 32-year-old man from Carlton, sustained slight injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision.
