Motorcyclist in critical condition after Ely bypass crash




A motorcyclist is in a critical condition after crashing on the Ely bypass.

Yesterday emergency services were called at about 2.45pm to a single vehicle collision which took place as the rider approached the Cambridge Road roundabout on the A10.

The rider of the Kawaski motorcycle was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

Today Cambridgeshire Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the crash to contact the force.

"Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam footage, is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 264 of April 16," a police spokesman said.
