Mill wins two AA rosettes

Culinary excellence has been recognised at Tuddenham Mill after inspectors awarded its restaurant two AA rosettes.

The AA inspector placed in charge of the report on the 15 bed hotel described the food as ‘the highlight of the stay, well-presented and sexy’.

News of the restaurant receiving the two rosettes come just eight weeks after the appointment of new head chef Lee Bye.

“This is a great achievement by the team,” said Lee.

“We have a whole new kitchen team and the response to the menu since day one has been more than we could have ever have ever hoped for.

“To get two AA rosettes so quick shows the hard work and focus we put in every day has now been rewarded.

“It is a real team effort and I am proud of my boys.”

The High Street hotel also retained its four AA stars with a merit, receiving a score of 81 per cent.

Hotels must score between 70 and 84 per cent to be awarded four AA stars.
