A serious collision blocked all lanes of the A14 westbound this afternoon, Monday July 18.

The crash, involving a lorry and two cars, took place near junction 36, Nine Mile Hill, but queues tailed back past Newmarket and also clogged the towns roads.

All lanes were cleared at around 2.10pm.

It follows long delays on the A14 this morning after collisions at the Girton Interchange near Cambridge and the Westley Interchange at Bury.
