Man in critical condition after he was run over in car park at Fiveways' McDonald's

A man is in a critical condition after he was run over in the car park of a McDonald's just outside Mildenhall.

Suffolk Police were called at about 11pm yesterday to reports the man, in his 20s, was hit by a woman driving a BMW 1 Series in the car park at McDonald's in Barton Mills, at the Fiveways' roundabout.

Police said he had become involved in an argument with the driver and then, either in the process of trying to get into or getting out of the car, was struck by the vehicle.

It is believed that he is known to the driver of the car.

A police spokesman said: "Any witnesses to the incident, or anyone who has seen a Black BMW 1 Series, registration number YF63 HFY, is asked to contact West CID at Bury St Edmunds police station on 101, quoting reference 41512/19."
