A man, believed to be the tenant of the house, was speaking to police and firefighters at the scene before running off.

Officers chased the man, believed to be in his 20s, who ran into nearby fields.

About 20 minutes later he was led by four police officers in handcuffs to an ambulance.

Suffolk Police said he was detained under the mental health act.
