Madness set to headline Newmarket Nights in 2019
Chart topping pop band Madness are set to headline Newmarket Nights in June.
Combining the genres of Ska, Reggae, Motown, Rock’n’Roll, and Classic Pop, Madness have become one of the music industry’s best loved British bands.
Hits from the band include Baggy Trousers, It Must Be Love, Driving In My Car, and Our House.
Madness is the third band announced for the popular event - with Thriller Live and Rudimental set to perform at the the July Course in the summer - and will take to the stage on June 21.
Combining the thrills of racing and live music, Newmarket Nights has hosted tens of thousands of fans and artists including George Ezra and Kylie Minogue.
Amy Starkey, regional director of Jockey Club Racecourses east, said: ‘We are delighted to be welcoming Madness back to the Newmarket Nights stage. They are an extremely popular choice with our customers and always put on an amazing performance into the evening. All I can say is make sure you bring your dancing shoes!’
