Newmarket insurers Hastings Direct gave a helping hand to the town’s day centre donating £400 to help support its Christmas celebrations.
Elvis McMinn, the centre’s general manager said: ”Thanks to Hastings Direct’s support we were able to host a week of Christmas celebrations for our staff and clients, using their donation for table decorations and entertainment.”
The insurer’s A Helping Hand initiative makes financial, professional and physical support available to the local community. It is currently appealing for potential charity partners for this year. “We are appealing to local charities which may need some financial assistance or physical support to get in touch as we may be able to help,” said Jay Wootten, community liaison for Hastings Direct:
