A series of guides containing comprehensive information on health and well being services across in Mildenhall and Newmarket are to be distributed by the NHS West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group.
The guides, which have been produced in partnership with Forest Heath District Council, will contain information on the opening hours and what is available at health centres, GP surgeries, dentists and pharmacies, along with other services including councils, libraries and charities.
Distribution of the new guides are to begin in Mildenhall this week, while the ones published for Newmarket will be released by Christmas.
“I think these guides are an excellent summary of the health services that our available in our towns,” said Warwick Hirst, FHDC cabinet member for health, leisure and culture.
“These guides provide a handy tool in addition to the work we are doing, directing people where to go for specialist help in the area.”
