Fordham school head set to retire

One of the country’s top headteachers, Kevin Bullock, has announced he will be retiring from his post at Fordham Primary School after 20 years in charge. Under his leadership, the school has become one of the best primaries in the country, achieving three ‘outstanding’ Ofsted inspections since 2002.

John Bradshaw, chairman of the school’s governors, said: “Kevin’s decision is a blow, but, as normal, he is planning this carefully and we have plenty of time to recruit a successor, Until he retires in December, he will continue to lead the school to continued success with his normal level of passion, enthusiasm and commitment.”
