Fitness wear company sees sales rocket
A Wickhambrook-based fitness wear company is trading its way through the current coronavirus pandemic crisis as those in lockdown do their best to stay healthy physically and mentally.
Since it was founded in January this year, Stylish AF Fitness Co has hit more than 1,000 sales worldwide.
Co-founder Samantha Loveridge said “Starting a new business is scary at the best of times but seeing what the virus was doing to established businesses made it terrifying. However, we started to see the sales increase country by country as people went into lockdown and it hasn’t slowed down since.”
The company is now working with influencers all over the world. It hasn’t been easy though as Samantha adds: “We still struggle a little with deliveries while couriers prioritise essential supplies, but our customers are extremely understanding.”
As for the future. “We are taking it one day at a time and at the moment,” said Samantha. “We aren’t sure what will happen when things start to return to normal. If it continues at the current trajectory, we will have to think about employing more staff, but if we see sales plateau, we will be happy that we helped people to feel good and keep motivated in dark times.”
