Fire crews battled a crop fire as it took hold of 25 acres of fields.
Crews were called to the fire in Newmarket Road, Moulton, just before 4pm on Saturday (July 18).
Standing crops had been set alight.
Two appliances from Newmarket were mobilised. At 4.24pm, the Incident Commander requested further assistance and one appliance from Wickhambrook and another from Bury St Edmunds were mobilised.
The water bowser from Newmarket was then deployed at 5.10pm.
The fire involved 25 acres of standing crop and 80 tonnes of baled straw. In all, six hose-reels and beaters were used.
Crews remained at the scene into the early hours of Sunday morning.
