Police raided a Newmarket house on Saturday, seizing a haul of suspected crack cocaine and a large amount of cash.

Officers entered an address in the Exning Road area and arrested a 29-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man, both from Newmarket, and an 18-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead.

Police from the West Suffolk Scorpion team recovered a quantity of what is believed to be crack cocaine and a large quantity of cash.

All three were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

The woman and 42-year-old man have been released under investigation. The 18-year-old man remains in custody at Bury St Edmunds police station.

West Suffolk Scorpion team was set up in 2015 as part of Suffolk Police's efforts to crackdown on 'county lines' drug trafficking.
