A Newmarket fashion store has raised more than £2,000 for Cancer Research UK.

M&Co raised an impressive £2,204 by holding a variety of events at its High Street store, including fashion shows, raffles and hampers.

They also provided “donation stations” for members of the public to donate.

Deanna Rogerson, area manager, said: “The generosity of our staff and customers is truly inspiring and they have pulled out all the stops to raise this magnificent sum.

“Everyone knows someone affected by cancer and that’s why we want to do our bit. Thank you to all our customers who have supported us.”

M&Co runs more than 250 stores across the UK, which have raised a total of £1.6million for Cancer Researck UK.

Caroline Silke, head of corporate partnerships at the charity, said: “We are extremely grateful for all the time and effort invested by the staff and customers at M&Co in Newmarket.”
