Bus service can take more

More than 500 passengers have taken advantage of a vital community bus service which operates between Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill.

The organisation operating the service says it has the capacity to carry many more passengers and is urging people to take advantage of it.

The Suffolk Links 3 Towns bus service is available to those who find it difficult to access other forms of transport. Managed by the Voluntary Network on behalf of Suffolk County Council, it is open to all and the vehicles are wheelchair accessible. The service picks passengers up and takes them where they want to go on a pre-booked basis. It runs from 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday. Bookings can be made 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, on 01638 664304.
