The Phoenix Players of Isleham are in final rehearsals for their next production — ‘Inspector Drake and the Perfect Crime’.
Well-known local thespian John Bedford stars in the leading role, with Paul Carrington playing his exceptionally dim-witted assistant, P.C. Plod.
Malcolm Speirs takes the role of Doctor Short, his two daughters being played by Pauline Wilkes and Marie Bowker, and the production is directed by Doreen Speirs.
Performances will be at The Beeches, Isleham’s new community centre, on Saturday February 20 and Sunday February 21, at 7.30pm.
