Triple rink going for tournament glory

A West Row triple rink of Melissa Andrews, Robbie Gove and Craig Moss have won through to the finals of the Anglian Regional Junior League.

The showpiece will be played at Acle Bowls Club on March 24 after the trio finished top of their league on Sunday at Norfolk Bowling Club.

After being defeated by Beccles in their opening game, they bounced back to defeat both Acle and hosts Norfolk.

Craig Moss will also represent Suffolk at St Neots in the regional finals of the English Bowling Youth Development scheme.

He recently won the under-15 section at Ipswich Bowls Club.

Sarah Gove has also qualified for these finals in an older age group.

The club is still seeking new junior members who can be offered free coaching and the loan of equipment.

Anyone interested should contact head coach and club captain Peter Rolfe on 01638 714073.

As a reminder adult beginners are coached at the club on Wednesday evenings from 6pm onwards, followed by a friendly bowls drive.
