RUGBY: Newmarket flatten Woodbridge
Eastern Counties One Newmarket 61 Woodbridge 5
WITH this crushing defeat of the team placed third in the league Newmarket demonstrated that they will not allow their progress in the RFU Vase to distract them from the target of a second promotion in three seasons.

Cocks made a half break, Ali Walker made further inroads before shipping the ball on to fellow back row Raymond Richardson who beat the final defender to score in the corner. Mike Reeves converted.
