GREYHOUNDS: Wallis enjoys success at Sittingbourne

CHAMPION greyhound trainer Mark Wallis enjoyed a succesful night at a rain soaked Sittingbourne last night after bagging four winners.

Getting the ball rolling for the three-times champion trainer was 2009 William Hill Classic winner Jogadusc Ace, who took the 450-metre Mini Standard by half-a-length, at odds of 6-4.

Ante-post favourite for this year's Greyhound Derby, Eye Onthe Storm, followed up his routine win at the Kent circuit last Thursday with another authoritative display in the 480- metre Standard race.

Despite a bump out of the boxes by Rackethall Shem in trap one, the Imperial Kennel handler's charge was soon in front at the first bend before going on to score by three and-a-half lengths at odds of 1-5.

The win for last year's Greyhound Eclipse hero puts him in top form for Tuesday night's Juvenille Classic at Wimbledon.

Just over 20 minutes later 2009 St Leger hero Kinda Easy made amends for defeat by Hill Tipoki at the circuit last week by leading home a Wallis trained one two in the 642-metre Stayers race.

Sent off 6-4 favourite, Kinda Easy made all from the outside box to land the spoils from his kennel mate and 2009 Arc victor Corrig Vieri.

Wallis completed his haul when Jodu Fame obliged at 5-4 in the 500 metre Super Standard from the strong finishing Fawkham Emperor.
