Entries open

ENTRIES are now open for the first round of this year’s Airflo World Bank Masters championship at Blackdyke Trout Fishery.

The Norfolk lake will hold the first of the English-based rounds of the competition, which has a grand final first prize of £2,000, on Saturday February 25.

Places are limited to 30, with the entry fee set at £25 per angler. Each entrant will receive a goody bag containing Airflo line and a pack of IBFF flies.

Over the past seven days, a return to intermediate lines has produced the best success rate among anglers, with damsel nymphs, yellow dancers and cats whiskers all taking fish.

For more information about the Airflo World Bank Masters and for details about the fishery, contact Paul Speed on 07525 730447.
