Ely get their revenge

Ely played in their third tournament of the year and gained revenge on East Grinstead — who beat them in their last tournament — by defeating their opponents 6-4.

Sam Arnold struck a hat-trick, while Max Dunand bagged a brace and Fred McCann a solitary strike.

Ely were comfortable 8-2 winners against England Ladies thanks to goals from Dunand (five), Paul Masterton (two) and Arnold.

Dunand struck a late equaliser as Ely drew their final match with Halifax 1-1.
