Double delight as Grice grabs the top spot in two categories

Mid Anglia School of Tae Kwon Do pupil Justin Grice was in fine form at the ITF Norfolk Open after walking away with two first-place trophies.

Blue belt Grice, eight, was first in the under-125cm junior colour belt sparring and the special technique (flying high kick) divisions at the event held in Downham Market.

n Ten pupils from the Newmarket and Mildenhall branches of the Mark Farnham Schools of Taekwondo have all successfully passed their latest colour belt grading examinations.

Each of the pupils were awarded their next Kup belts by examiner 8th dan Paul Donnelly following the grading ceremony staged at the end of last month.

Newmarket: 1st Kup (Red belt/black stripe) Elizabeth Haward; 2nd Kup (Red belt) Ilya Akulov; 3rd Kup (Blue belt/red stripe) Phoebe Everitt; 4th Kup (Blue belt) Kirsty Barrott; 6th Kup (Green belt) Harvey Gillham.

Mildenhall: 5th Kup (Green belt/blue stripe) Liam Hancock, Nigel Hensby, Martin Lee; 6th Kup (Green belt) Jasmine Lau; 7th Kup (Yellow belt/green stripe) Alexander Rutterford.
