Rob Huff endured a weekend to forget during rounds 19 and 20 of the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) in Shangai, China.

Seven days after toasting his first victory of the campaign, and LADA’s first since joining the WTCC, the Red Lodge-based driver found himself well and truly out of luck on this time around.

In round 19 Huff saw his race end in the pit lane after suffering a puncture following contact with Chevrolet driver Dusan Borkovic.

Huff fared little better in round 20.

Running inside the top 10, the 2012 WTCC champion saw his race come to an early end after being shunted into a tyre barrier by Italian Gianni Morbidelli.

n Flashman Finneran ended his year in the Ginetta Junior Championship on a low-key note at Brands Hatch on Sunday.

Finishing 12th in round 19, the Newmarket-based driver could only manage 18th in the final race.
