Young golfing prodigy, Callum Brookes, enjoyed a memorable week after clinching a special title treble and a hole-in-one.
The Newmarket Golf Club member, who only started playing golf four years ago, started off the week competing in the Newmarket Junior Open against other top Junior golfers from clubs in the Cambridgeshire area.
And having played his way into a three-way play-off, Brookes held his nerve to win the sudden death play-off and the title.
Tuesday saw him travel to Suffolk for the prestigious 36-hole Eastern Region Stoke-by-Nayland Boys’ Championship.
Brookes again underlined his potential by shooting a stunning six-shot margin victory.
This included a remarkable hole-in-one at the 13th hole - the second of his career.
Just a day later and celebrating his 18th birthday, Brookes headed to Grinton, near Cambridge for a Junior Open event.
Again, with fierce competition from Cambridgeshire’s best, Brookes battled through with a winning score of 73, to emerge victorious again and cap a memorable week.
